Human Rights Statement

How we treat guests, our team and the communities we travel through.

Last updated: November 2026

TIME TO TRAVEL MUNNAR is a Munnar-based travel company. We respect the dignity and rights of every guest, employee, driver, guide and person in the places we visit. This statement sets out how we put that into daily work.

1. Our Commitment

  • Treat every guest and team member fairly, without discrimination based on gender, religion, caste, language, nationality, disability, age or any other personal characteristic.
  • Provide a safe trip environment and listen when someone raises a concern.
  • Respect local communities, their land, customs and livelihoods while operating tours in Munnar and Kerala.
  • Follow applicable Indian law in our bookings, employment and vehicle operations.

2. Guests

Guests can expect respectful service, clear information about a booking, and the right to refuse an activity they are not comfortable with. We do not tolerate harassment of guests by staff, drivers or other travellers in our group.

3. Our People and Partners

  • We do not use child labour.
  • Drivers, guides and office staff are engaged on lawful terms and are expected to work without abuse or unsafe pressure.
  • Hotels and activity partners are chosen with the expectation that they treat their own staff lawfully and respectfully.

4. Communities and the Environment

Tours should leave Munnar’s tea hills, forests and villages in good care. We ask guests and drivers to stay on permitted routes, avoid littering, and follow forest and wildlife rules. We do not promote activities that harm people or wildlife.

5. Raising a Concern

If you see unfair treatment, unsafe work, harassment or any conduct that conflicts with this statement, contact our Guidance Officer by phone, WhatsApp or email. We review each report and reply with the action we can take.
